Grand Egyptian Museum will open in Egypt in November

 


According to an unknown person acquainted with the situation, Egypt will finally open the Grand Egyptian Museum in November, Asharq Business reported on April 30.

According to some estimates, the Grand Egyptian Museum is the biggest museum in the world with artefacts from only one culture. The projected $1.03 billion cost of building the museum.

It has more over 50,000 artefacts and is close to the Giza Pyramids.

In 2016, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) offered $460 million in funding with a 25-year repayment period, a 1.4% interest rate, and a roughly seven-year grace period.
